SERVICES · MEILEN ZH

Three offers. One craft.

WHAT WE OFFER

What we build.

Search engine essentials, loading speed, behaviour on a phone and a test report are part of all three offers at no extra charge. Ongoing search work and care after launch are billed by the hour, because both carry on after handover.
01

New website

From an empty domain to a finished website, live in three to four weeks.
Typical duration
3 to 4 weeks
Price anchor
from CHF 2'500 for up to 5 pages, from CHF 4'500 as a business website
Scope of work
  • Structure, sitemap and copy skeleton from one briefing session
  • Individual design instead of a template, drawn for desktop and phone
  • Mobile first: the same quality on phone, tablet and desktop
  • Search engine essentials: titles, meta data, structured data, sitemap
  • Load time as an acceptance criterion: Lighthouse above 90 on the home page, measured on mobile on handover day
  • Legal pages, cookie notice and analytics set up under Swiss data protection law
  • Contact form with spam protection, delivered to your mailbox
02Core discipline

Rebuild & modernisation

Your existing website rebuilt rather than patched. Rankings and URL structure move across without loss.
Typical duration
2 to 4 weeks
Price anchor
from CHF 900, depending on the size of the existing site
Scope of work
  • Audit first: content, rankings, loading times, technical debt
  • A rebuild on current foundations instead of patchwork on the old system
  • URL structure and search ranking are preserved, redirects are part of the delivery
  • Migration from WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Jimdo or a custom build
  • Measured before and after: loading time and Lighthouse documented in writing
  • Existing content is carried over and edited, not reinvented
  • Cut-over outside business hours, the old site stays reachable until you sign off
03

Web apps & custom development

When a website is not enough: portals, dashboards and tools, custom-built and type-safe.
Typical duration
6 to 12 weeks to the first production release
Price anchor
CHF 12'000 to 35'000+, depending on functionality, discovery billed separately
Scope of work
  • Requirements workshop with sketches, data model and effort estimate, billed separately
  • User accounts, roles and permissions
  • Database and interfaces to your existing systems
  • Dashboards, reports and exports
  • A complete online shop where needed: basket, checkout, payment, product management
  • Development in one- to two-week sprints, a preview URL after every sprint
  • Maintenance window, monitoring and error reporting from the first release
SIZES & PRICES

Transparent sizes. No fantasy prices.

Every size below belongs to one of the three offers above. The figures are benchmarks from completed projects. The binding price follows the first conversation, as a fixed price agreed before the project starts. A rebuild follows the size of the existing site and starts at CHF 900.

CARE AFTER LAUNCH

Billed by the hour, CHF 150.

No subscription, no base fee, no minimum term. You pay for the time that arises and nothing else. Here is what that means in return: without a standing arrangement, nobody watches your website for you. Updates and checks happen when you ask for them. If you would rather not keep an eye on it yourself, tell us a fixed rhythm and we will come to you.
Hourly rate
CHF 150per hour
  • Updates of framework and dependencies
  • Text, images and new pages
  • Fault finding and recovery
  • Advice on content, findability and technology
Billing
15 minsmallest unit billed
  • A monthly invoice with date, time spent and a description per item
  • From one estimated hour upwards we name the price beforehand
  • We do not start without your yes
  • Anything under 15 minutes we do not bill
Availability
48 hreply, business days
  • Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 18:00
  • There are two of us; we do not run a service around the clock
  • If your site is down, you come before every other task
  • You can stop at any time: the code sits in your repository
INCLUDED IN THE PRICE

What you do not pay extra for.

These nine items are part of every new build and every rebuild. Next to each one is what it costs if you order it from us on its own. The figures are our hourly rate of CHF 150 times the time the work actually takes — our own price list, not comparison values from the market.
  • Redirect plan with follow-up check
Every old address points to the right new one after the move. Prevents the most common relaunch damage.
    Ordered separatelyCHF 900
  • Accessibility baseline
Semantic HTML, measured contrast, visible focus rings, alt text. The full WCAG audit is booked separately.
    Ordered separatelyCHF 600
  • Privacy-compliant form path
A contact form without third-party trackers, with a named recipient and a documented route for the data.
    Ordered separatelyCHF 450
  • Performance budget and optimisation
Image formats, font loading, lazy loading, bundle sizes. This is what produces the Lighthouse figure in the test report.
    Ordered separatelyCHF 450
  • Processing overview
A list of every service that touches your data, with its location. Without it you cannot meet your duty to inform.
    Ordered separatelyCHF 350
  • Technical search essentials
Metadata, sitemap, robots.txt, canonicals, preview images for social networks.
    Ordered separatelyCHF 300
  • Reversible operation
A deployment pipeline with a preview environment. A mistake is undone in minutes, not days.
    Ordered separatelyCHF 300
  • Ownership and handover package
Source code in a repository in your name, version history, handover document. You can carry on without us at any time.
    Ordered separatelyCHF 300
  • Early error warning
Error monitoring set up and running. We see faults before your customers call.
    Ordered separatelyCHF 250
On a rebuild from CHF 900 that means the work billed without a contract would exceed the price of the contract. It adds up because most of it arises during the build anyway and we do not do it twice. We simply do not want anyone to think a website is just a website.

ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA

Six commitments. All of them in the contract.

Most web projects fail over unclear expectations. These six points are contract clauses and get checked at handover.
  1. 01

    Written contract

Every project starts with a clear contract: scope, delivery dates, payment plan. No handshakes, no surprises.
  2. 02

    NDA on request

For sensitive industries or quiet launches we sign a non-disclosure agreement under Swiss law. Just ask for one.
  3. 03

    Fixed price or day rate

Clearly defined scope: fixed price. Open discovery or ongoing iteration: a transparent day rate. Your call.
  4. 04

    Discovery phase first

We start with a short discovery phase. If either side does not want to continue afterwards, the project ends fairly and with a capped cost.
  5. 05

    The code is yours

At launch we hand over the complete source code to your own GitHub or GitLab repository. No vendor lock-in, no dependency on us.
  6. 06

    One personal contact

Your contact is reachable directly, by phone or email. No ticket system in between.
PROCESS

Five phases, each with a result.

Every phase has a defined result it is signed off against. At any point you know what you provide, what you receive and how long it takes.
  1. 01

    Briefing

A 60 to 90 minute conversation about your business, your clients and what the current website fails to do. We review existing content, traffic figures and access.
    You provide
Company material, access to analytics and domain, one contact with decision-making authority.
    You receive
A written assessment with site structure, effort estimate and a fixed-price quote.
    Duration
    3 to 5 working days
  2. 02

    Concept & design

Site structure, copy skeleton and visual design take shape together. You see the home page as a complete draft first, then the remaining page types.
    You provide
Copy and imagery. Or the mandate for us to produce both. One round of feedback per draft.
    You receive
A sign-off-ready design for desktop and phone, plus the binding page list.
    Duration
2 to 8 working days, depending on the offer
  3. 03

    Development

We build the approved designs in one- to two-week sprints. After each sprint there is a preview URL you can open and comment on yourself.
    You provide
Remaining content and feedback within the agreed window.
    You receive
A continuously updated preview URL and repository access from day one.
    Duration
1 to 6 weeks, depending on the offer
  4. 04

    Testing & sign-off

We test on real devices, measure Lighthouse, check forms, redirects, legal pages and privacy settings. Findings are fixed before go-live.
    You provide
    Sign-off against the agreed criteria.
    You receive
Test report with measured values: Lighthouse above 90 on the home page, on mobile, on handover day. Plus a form run, the redirect list and the legal pages.
    Duration
    2 to 5 working days
  5. 05

    Go-live & operation

Cut-over outside business hours, with a redirect from every old address. Then two weeks of close monitoring of rankings, errors and loading times.
    You provide
Approval of the cut-over slot and access to domain and DNS.
    You receive
The live website, source code in your own repository and a handover document. Whatever comes after that we bill by the hour.
    Duration
    1 day cut-over, 2 weeks of aftercare
TECH STACK

Modern, selected, maintainable long term.

We use technology that has already held up in production. What we build will still run in five years without anyone hunting for a migration path first.
Frontend

Fast, type-safe interfaces

Server-rendered, lazy-loaded, mobile-first. Before every sign-off we run Lighthouse and hand over the report.
  • Next.js 14
  • React 18
  • TypeScript 5
  • Tailwind CSS v4
  • Radix UI
  • shadcn/ui
Motion

Motion with substance

We use animation where it carries hierarchy or feedback. Never on top of readable text. Anyone who has reduced motion switched on in their system gets it reduced.
  • Framer Motion
  • GSAP
  • Lenis Smooth Scroll
  • CSS transforms
  • prefers-reduced-motion
Backend & data

Data, auth & APIs

APIs close to the edge and type-safe database access. We do not write authentication ourselves, that is what Auth.js and Clerk are for.
  • Node.js
  • tRPC / REST
  • Postgres / Supabase
  • Prisma ORM
  • Sanity / Payload CMS
  • Auth.js / Clerk
Infrastructure

Hosting, CDN, observability

Deploys by git push, a global CDN, one preview URL per branch. Errors land in Sentry before you have to report them.
  • Vercel
  • Cloudflare
  • GitHub Actions
  • Sentry
  • Plausible Analytics
FREQUENT QUESTIONS

Answers before you ask.

If your question is not here, just write to us. Answer within 48 hours on working days.
01How long does a typical project take?
A focused landing page takes 10 working days, a classic business website 3 to 4 weeks. More complex web applications are planned in sprints, usually between 6 and 12 weeks to the first production release.
02What does a website really cost with you?
We bill care by the hour at CHF 150, in quarter-hour steps. No subscription, no base fee, no minimum term. Updates, content changes, fault finding and advice all run on the same rate. From one estimated hour upwards we name the price beforehand, and we do not start without your yes. The catch belongs in the answer: without a standing arrangement, nobody watches your site for you. If you would rather not keep an eye on it yourself, we agree a rhythm. Or you take over the code and carry on yourself; it sits in your repository either way.
03Who owns the code after launch?
You do. Entirely. We hand over all source code to your own git repository, including deployment and build configuration. You can keep developing it yourself or change providers at any time.
04Where is the website hosted?
On European hosts with an edge CDN, usually Vercel or Cloudflare Pages. On request we host in Switzerland, Infomaniak for example. Your domain and your hosting account stay in your name, not ours.
05Is everything compliant with Swiss DSG and the GDPR?
Yes. We deliver a privacy policy, legal notice, cookie information and tracking setup in line with the Swiss DSG and the EU GDPR. Where needed we work with your data protection advisers and document technical measures such as data minimisation, EU hosting and processing agreements.
06How does working together actually run?
Briefing (discovery and concept) → design (structure and visual design) → development (in 1 to 2 week sprints with review calls) → testing and sign-off → go-live and operation. You have one fixed contact and a shared project hub (Notion or Linear).
07Do you also take on redesigns or migrations?
Yes, that is our core discipline. We migrate existing WordPress, Wix or custom-built websites to modern stacks (Next.js, headless CMS), keeping the SEO value and the URL structure, and we plan the cut-over so that there are no drops in ranking or traffic.
08What happens after launch?
We bill care by the hour at CHF 150, in quarter-hour steps. No subscription, no base fee, no minimum term. Updates, content changes, fault finding and advice all run on the same rate. From one estimated hour upwards we name the price beforehand, and we do not start without your yes. The catch belongs in the answer: without a standing arrangement, nobody watches your site for you. If you would rather not keep an eye on it yourself, we agree a rhythm. Or you take over the code and carry on yourself; it sits in your repository either way.
09Can I see what you have built so far?
Yes, on the work page. Every reference is listed there by name, with its industry, region and stack, plus the starting point, what we did and the result. As a result we count only values we measured ourselves: Lighthouse mobile with the date, the page count, the way it was built.
